Restaurant Session (in Aachen): La Becasse

 On Saturday, we went for lunch at restaurant La Becasse ✨ from chef Christof Lang.

 Bread plate and knife in an interesting design.

 As traditionally in La Becasse, olives and radish at the table.

 

With the aperitif...

 

...the amuse bouche: a foie gras croquette.

 

 As starter, a Caesar salad.

 

With lunch, I had a glass of 2019 Pouilly-Fumé from Château de Tracy.

Before the main dish, a sorbet with vodka.

Our main dish: Pata Negra schnitzel with forest mushrooms sauce and mashed potatoes.
