Restaurant Session (in Aachen): Sankt Benedikt

After being heavily impacted by July's flooding, restaurant Sankt Benedikt✨, from chef Maximilian Kreus, is open again!

Love the effect of the new lights at the wall.

 

We came for lunch, and tomorrow we have a dinner reservation - looking forward to it!

 

 Bread, lard and black olives tapenade.

 

To drink, a home made lemonade.

As main dish, i had the vegetarian option, with carrot, pumpkin and pear.

 

 Sweet time!

 

To finish, espresso macchiato and a couple of sweets.

So nice that it is open again! Apparently white orchids were the flower of choice to congratulate :-)
