On Thursday, we went by car to Schwangau, in South Germany - love this place! As we planned to visit the Neuschwanstein castle, we stayed at the perfect location - Ameron Neuschwanstein Alpsee Resort and Spa, 2 minutes from the path to the castle.

Unfortunately the hotel's swimming pool was closed for maintenance. But with this beautiful lake next to the hotel, we changed to our swimming suits and went straight for a (very) refreshing dive.
