It was quite early in the morning...
...but the carriages going up to Neuschwanstein were already starting to fill in.
This time, we chose to go up via the Pöllat Gorge path, as we haven't been here before.
Passing next to the Pöllat river. This wooden path is used for maintenance - the hiking trail next to the river and rocks...
...looks like this - a bit more stable :-)
Passing VERY close to the rocks :-)
A natural dam build by rolling rocks.
Pause to appreciate the nature and take some pictures.
Waterfalls...
...starting from the top and...
...finishing on a very cool rock, kind of looking like a mushroom :-)
...stop appearing yet :-) Time to walk again. Such majestic rocks next to the road!
In the distance, we spot...
...the Marienbrücke (or Mary's bridge), looking over the Pöllat canyon.
In the forecast, a little black furry squirrel.
Hello, Neuschwanstein! Nice to see you :-)
Sept 11th, 2020.
