On our Way to Pavo Restaurant

The restaurant is at 1,268m of altitude! As the road is very narrow, two cars next to each other can not pass. Thereby you have a timetable to go up and down: in an hour, 40 minutes are reserved for cars to go up, 15 min are reserved for cars to go down. A traffic light ensures that you know when you can go.

Pavo is at the Burghotel in Pfronten (nowadays called Boutique Hotel Blaue Burg). 

Next to the hotel, at the right...

...the Falkenstein - the highest located castle ruins in Germany.

Nowadays, it is all renovated - will be seen in our visit in 2022 :-)
