Restaurant Session (in Cluj, Romania): Baracca

In our second night in Cluj, we went for dinner at restaurant Baracca, from chef Roland Suciu. As starters, we ordered some dishes to share. Beef tartar with 21 days age beef, homemade black garlic, tomatoes, egg yolk - so good!

...with little bread rolls.
 
Goat cheese mousse (goat cheese Feleac - Cluj), lemon and Comté. Delicious!
 
As main dish, I had 21 days aged beef tenderloin with celery root, mushrooms and beef jus.
 
Sweet time! Caramelized apple tart with apples of Transylvania, English cream. Very good!

This year, in August 2024, Baracca unfortunately closed its doors. That's really a pity!
 
After dinner, a nice walk to our hotel.
