Visiting Brussels

On Friday morning, we left Paris Nord with the Thalys at 9h55 to arrive 11h17 in Brussels - where Roger will pick us up.

The train passes close to Charles de Gaulle airport - cool to see the planes landing from our seats :-)

 

Snack time - opera cake and soft drink.

 

 

Arriving to Brussels, we went directly to the Grand Place. From there, passing by the statue of Everad (sculpted by the artist Julien Dillens) and touching his arm - your wishes should be granted :-D

 

The famous - and very small - manneken pis :-)

 

Visiting the Galerie de la Reine before walking in direction of Sablon district for lunch.
