Restaurant Session (at Damme, Belgium): De Zuidkant

  
We went for dinner at restaurant De Zuidkant✨from chef Patrick Van Hoorn in Damme. Love the facade and...
 
...the interior.
 
Big glass doors facing a quiet and nice courtyard.
 
As aperitif, I had the house cocktail.
 
With the aperitif, some bites. 
 


 

Warm bread, with butter and olive oil. 
 
As first dish, grey shrimp, lettuce and cauliflower.

I had the wine pairing. With the grey shrimps, a glass of 2022 Sauvignon Blanc Semillon from Pikes.
 
Turbot, asparagus and estragon. Delicious!

With the second dish, a glass of 2021 Chardonnay from Bogle Family Vineyards.
 
Porc cheeks, mustard, celery and Belper Knolle. Lots of flavour!

A glass of Tonalite teroldego rotaliano from De Vigili. 
 
As main dish, lamb fillet, peas, broad beans and wild garlic.

With the lamb, a glass of Dueterre Cuveé Rosso D'Italia from Azienda Agricola Masseria Tagaro
