Some baby trees are completely under snow.
Interesting how the snow got stuck only in one side of the trees.

A mask on the floor - signs of Covid time, even in the forest.
In our walk, we stumble over the Siegfried Line (or Westwall or dragon's teeth): vestigesof the Second War.
When it was time to go back, guess what? The new BMW from Roger got stuck in the ice/snow, and no way we managed to get it out. Luckily there were two guys passing by, and we three managed to push the car and get it out from the pool of ice and snow.
With a rear wheel drive, not always straight forward to be in icy patches...
