Restaurant Session (in Helmond, Netherlands): De Rosario

...to the classic decoration. Cool!
 
As aperitif, a watermelon kombucha.
 
It came with spicy crackers...
 
...and a great dip. Delicious!!

 
 As amuse bouche...

 
...sweet sour pumpkin, pumpkin mousse and passion fruit, sesame seeds. Great combination!
 
Steam bun with an excelent dip: deeper in the dip, stronger the chilly taste (so that you can control how hot you want it 😊). Really nice!
 
Bitter lemon - as I had far too much wine the night before ;-)
 
Roger chose as starter the Daikon - carpaccio grilled daikon, quinoa, fresh yuzu salad, smoked chilli emulsion, kletskop crumble and roasted wild rice. He loved it!
 
My starter: Langoustine & Pumpkin. Langoustine tartar, sweet and sour pumpkin, pumpkin toffee, quinoa, vadouvan emulsion, orange, shore crab and yellow curry sauce, kletskop crumble. An explosion of flavours, loved it!
 
 The main dish: Beef Tenderloin, served in three dishes. Barbecued beef tenderloin, abon, sweet potatoes, turnip cabbage and white soy sauce.
 
Delicious and looking...

 ...really nice!
 
For dessert, Caramel and Nuts. Tonka ice cream, caramel foam, pork belly popcorn, barbecued pineapple, nut crumble, maldon salt and chocolate crunch. Great!
 
We loved the restaurant, very creative dishes and full of flavour! The only negative point was the pace: as we chose a la carte, we expected the pace to be faster but it took quite long (so much that we skip coffee). But otherwise, great gastronomic experience!!
