Visiting Helmond (in the Netherlands)

 

From Vreeland, in our way back to Aachen, we went to visit Helmond.

And, yes, house cubes were first build in Helmond and only afterwards in Rotterdam! Both sites designed by the architect Piet Blom.

 

 Probably not be very practical to decorate inside, but it looks really cool :-)

It is surrounded by water.

...to our lunch place: not, not at the clothes market but at the building behind it :-)
