Restaurant Session (in Kornelimünster): Sankt Benedikt

Enjoying Thursday evening dinner at Sankt Benedikt✨ As aperitif, a cone  of avocado cream with tomato gel...

...date salty praliné with pecan nut and tamarind, and horseradish with romaine lettuce, vinegar gel and white garlic.

Love the presentation of the amuse bouche! Gazpacho caviar with tomato white mousse.
 
Scallop | elderflower | apple pickles. The ring is made of red pepper.

With the scallops, a glass of 2021 Sauvignon Blanc from Knipser. Really nice!
 
Cod fish | Tom Ka Gai ice cream | Pandan | Kaffir lime leaves. Excellent!

Pairing with the cod, a glass of 2020 Chardonnay Müllheimer Reggenhag from Dörflinger.

To finish an excellent dinner, espresso macchiato and gourmandises: triple chocolate cake, almond cake, and praline.
